Playa Real Resort - Costa Adeje (Tenerife)

We recently spent our Christmas holiday at a resort in Tenerife and had a great time. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked well. The children's splash pool was perfect for our kids and we spent most of our time there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel also had a small play park which was a nice addition. One of the best aspects of our stay was the food - there was a good variety and everyone in our group found something they liked. It was great to have access to soft drinks and water throughout the day.

There were a few aspects of our stay that could have been better. The facilities, such as the play park and room decor, were a bit dated and could use some updating.

We appreciated the food and staff. We strongly recommend and return to the place. Unique base for a vacation in Costa Adeje! The hotel was just a walk down to Puerto Colon.

We were really impressed with this hotel. the location was perfect, right next to the beach and with a supermarket nearby. Our room was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities. the service provided by the staff was exceptional, from the cleaners to the waiters and reception staff. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning with a wide variety of options. the hotel also had great facilities, including a fantastic pool area.

The evening entertainment wasn't always the best, but it didn't bother us much.

14 days of bliss

This hotel was wonderful and I would highlight recommend it. The location was great with a ten minute stroll to the beach and shops. El douce was a fantastic beach with a shopping mall and pleasant walking conditions with gorgeous views of the coast line. The rooms were spacious, light, clean with a balcony overlooking the swimming pools! The whole hotel was spotless and I mean spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful in particular the restaurant manager Manuel and Coralie on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment and bars closed at 23.00 which was good as no noisy trevellers to disturb your beauty sleep. The beds were so comfortable and wide, never had so much sleep, lovely! The food was excellent and varied so be prepared, as you will put on weight! The tuna mix at breakfast was simply divine.

Food was decent and location was convenient with easy access to nearby attractions. the pool was a nice area to relax in.

The hotel looked quite run-down and did not seem well-maintained. the staff was not very friendly or helpful.
